It is essential that Local Authorities (LA) work in collaboration with the parent/carer of a child with an EHCP, as well as schools, and the health and social care sector. At AdvantageSEND we understand the pressures that LA are facing in order to fulfil their obligations towards meeting their objectives towards individuals with SEND.
At AdvantageSEND we will aim to:
- Provide the very best in SEND consultancy to ensure the succinct delivery of a subjective overview that leads to effective communication taking place between all stake holders
- Support the LA to promote quality first teaching for all SEND learners
- Provide specialist advice and diagnostic reporting for SEND
- Work in collaboration with LA, so they may successfully meet their statutory obligations as set out in the CoP
- Facilitate the implementation of the local offer
- Work with the LA to offer bespoke workshops to remind school staff to work with parents
- Provide specific SEND training to schools which require improvement and a better understanding of an inclusive education, and support managing SEND provision
- Support the LA to inform/ train SEND governors of their role and responsibilities towards children with SEND
- Offer practical strategies to promote the best provision and outcomes for children with SEND in your Local Authority
